SHRINER FALLS
   Pierce County, Washington

[ Physical Makeup ]  [ Pictures ]  [ Maps ]  [ Update History ]  [ User Comments ]

Shriner Falls occurs on one of the several small perennial streams flowing off Shriner Peak in the eastern part of Mount Rainier National Park. The falls can be seen from Highway 123 where the creek almost sprays right on to the road. The falls drop a total of about 150 feet, but the largest tier of the falls is partially obstructed due to moderate foreshortening. This is more of a pause-while-driving-by sort of attraction than anything else, so don't put too much into a stop.
