Viewing Spray Falls is not quite as simple as walking up to it and unfortunately photographing it is even more involved. The trail ends at the side of the creek, with a clump of trees blocking the falls from view. Crossing the creek is necessary to get a full view of the falls, but scrambling upstream is suggested for better perspectives. The falls face west and are well lit in the afternoon hours. Spray is often an issue up close to the falls. A wide angle lens isn't necessary but could be useful for getting really close to the bottom of the falls.
