Little Niagara Falls is an exceptionally scenic, exceptionally photogenic waterfall. Unfortunately as the falls are situated in a heavily forested canyon the scene is prone to unfavorable contrast conditions during certain times of the day. The falls face northwest and will see direct sunlight for a limited amount of the day. The best lighting will be encountered before 9am and after 5pm. From downstream several trees will obstruct half of the falls, while from immediately at its base spray will be a substantial problem.
