Approaching Whinnimic Falls closely appears to be possible but it will require a fair amount of brush bashing through avalanche scrub between Lemah Creek and the falls. When Lemah Creek runs high in the early summer, expect the traverse to be very marshy and wet. There are no shortage of easily accessed vistas of the falls and valley from throughout the meadows in the area. The falls will be well lit in the morning and will see shade by the late afternoon.
