This may be one of the most photogenic waterfalls found in the Washington Cascades. During lower flow periods the falls take on a striking offset stair-step form, while at higher flows they appear as a broad spreading veil. Unfortunately a tree has fallen in front of the falls recently which makes the scene a lot more difficult to work with while retaining the qualities that makes this spot so photogenic. Until the tree falls further, this waterfall may be best photographed during low flow periods when it will be possible to get close without the spray being a problem.
