There are several developed viewpoints for Koosah Falls. Two decks overlook the falls, as well as an area at the brink of the falls. The second viewing area downstream from the falls is the better of the two, but my favorite perspective is from the river bank several hundred feet downstream. A steep beaten path leads down from the McKenzie River trail to streamside. Spray can be a problem at any time of year - especially at the streamside vista (despite being much further downstream than any of the other viewpoints). Polarizer is highly recommended; warming filter is suggested - particularly on overcast days.
