There are literally 180 degrees of different views of this waterfall. Shooting from behind the falling water is almost a prerequisite for visiting. Like nearly all the north-facing falls of the Columbia Gorge, this waterfall almost never sees direct sunlight, but high contrast can still be a problem on the surrounds. A wide angle lens is suggested (18mm will do).
