The falls themselves are quite scenic, but honestly the gorge of Gorton Creek in the 1/4 mile below the falls is much more photogenic than the falls itself - especially during the autumn. To frame the falls with the upper tier, there is really only one angle to shoot, but if that isn't important, there are several perspectives further downstream that are much more scenic. The falls face north and are in an area where the sun will rarely strike the falls outside the middle of the summer.
