Like its sibling downstream, the number one problem with photographing this waterfall is the constant, sometimes blinding spray. The portions of the falls closest to the trail all direct their spray at the most ideal locations for photography, so come creative measures (perhaps an umbrella, for example) may need to be employeed to come away with the shot. The falls have a general facing to the north but because of the extremely complex form there really is no single-directional facing. The falls are well exposed and will be evenly lit for much of the day.
