This is one of the more unique waterfalls in Washington. The left and main portion of the creek sprays down a natural slide, while the right side veils into a pool below. Although you can't get down to the bottom of the falls, it is still quite a site to behold (even in comparison to it's downstream big brother). Best seen during the high water season, late May to early July. This would be a very pretty falls from the bottom, and next time I am in the area, I will attempt to get to the base of the falls.
- Upper Clear Creek Falls is the Adopted name of this waterfall.
Upper Clear Creek Falls is accessed easiest by driving 2.5 miles east of White Pass along Highway 12, or 5.1 miles west of FR # 12, to the marked Clear Creek Falls viewpoint. Walk upstream along the canyon to any of several fenced vistas into the falls. Best view is about 100 feet upstream from the bathrooms.
