This is basically the epitomal consolation waterfall - a runner up to 311 foot tall Snagtooth Falls located about 2/3 of a mile upstream. Lower Snagtooth Falls splashes about 30 feet into a small pool in a narrow gorge which is quite audible while journeying upstream to the main attraction, but it is definitely not worth visiting on its own. Since Snagtooth Falls shouldn't be attempted by anyone lacking substantial off-trail experience, don't bother with this one at all.
- Lower Snagtooth Falls is the Unofficial name of this waterfall.
See Snagtooth Falls for directions to Snagtooth Creek. The falls are found 1/4 mile upstream from where the Quartz Creek Trail crosses the creek. Not worth visiting unless you plan on spending the time and energy to visit Snagtooth Falls as well (which is discouraged).
