This small break in the otherwise relatively calm Row River is known for being one of the best swimming holes in Oregon. The Row has incised itself a few channels in the small basalt cliff creating the falls, and thusly forming 3-4 different segments. During higher water periods, the falls may become a more characteristically 'Block' type waterfall. On sunny days, you'll likely see local swimmers here, relaxing on the banks of the river, or jumping from atop the falls into the large pool at it's base.
- Wildwood Falls is the Official name of this waterfall.
- Known Alternate Names: Row River Falls
Exit Interstate 5 at Cottage Grove, Oregon, and drive east on Row River Road for approximately 17 1/2 miles. Just past the small berg of Culp Creek, take a signed road to the left, pointing the way to Wildwood Falls Park. The falls and park can be found an additional 8/10 mile away.
