The USGS Petersburg quadrangle notes a series of hash marks along Fifteenmile Creek near the hamlet of Petersburg, one of which is notated as "Falls", but the only feature along the creek in this area is a minor series of rapids and riffles. This entry does not qualify as a legitimate waterfall and is being left in the database as a clarification due to the falls being featured in several editions of Greg Plumb's "Waterfall Lover's Guide" books. It is very likely the falls lie within private land and may not even be publicly accessible.
- Petersburg Falls is the Adopted name of this waterfall.
