This is the first waterfall one encounters when traveling south from Enumclaw into Mt. Rainier National Park. The falls are a little hard to spot, due to the way the creek eroded the rock, but alert drivers should have little trouble. The falls are best seen in early summer, while there is still snow around Chinook Pass. It may be possible to climb to the base of the falls, but I haven't tried it with significant water to justify a picture.
- Pass Falls is the name of this waterfall.
This waterfall is not known to have ever had a name, so I have named it due to it's proximity to Cayuse and Chinook Passes.
This fall is located about 1 mile north of Cayuse Pass along Highway 410, within Mt. Rainier National Park. Parking is on the west (downhill) side of the road. Keep your etrue open because it falls at an angle that is almost impossible to see if you are traveling north, but if you are going south, you should see it easily.
