Fisk Falls is a small 15 foot waterfall along Roger Creek about 200 feet above its confluence with the Chehalis River. Some reports erroneously place the falls on the Chehalis River itself, just upstream from Roger Creek where a modest rapid occurs. A fish ladder that may or may not still be in use bypasses the formation. The falls occur within Weyerhauser land and may, at times, be inaccessible to the public due to gate closures.
- Fisk Falls is the Official name of this waterfall.
Drive west from Interstate 5 along Highway 6 to the small town of Pe Ell. Turn south on the last street in town before you cross the Chehalis River (I think it's 3rd street). After about 1 1/2 miles you will pass a Weyerhaeuser facility, and shortly after, the road turns to gravel, and becomes FR # 1000. Continue for between 5 to 6 miles, staying on FR # 1000. Just before the road crosses the Chehalis River for the third time, turn left on a road that veers off to the left, hugging a cliff. After about .1 mile, there is a short jeep trail that goes off to the right. Park here and make your way to the creek in less than 100 yards.
