HISTORY AND NAMING INFORMATION

  • Crescent Falls is the Historical name of this waterfall.

Crescent Falls was discovered and named by the 1906 party whom explored the Conrad Creek drainage to Mount Curtis Gilbert in the Goat Rocks Wilderness. The stream was originally thought of as the South Fork of the Tieton River, but the name didn't hold and drifted one drainage south.
