Carwash Falls occurs at the mouth of McGregor Creek, where it sprays directly into the Stehekin River. The former Stehekin River Road used to pass immediately next to the base of the falls, but the floods of November 2003 destroyed that section of the road, so the falls drop right into the river at this point. The National Park Service has recommended that the road be decomissioned above the falls, so it is likely that the falls will only be visible via some sort of trail in the future. Because the road passed immediately below the falls, the true height is not known.
- Carwash Falls is the Official name of this waterfall.
