Kayakers Guide to Northwest Waterfalls

In my on going search for more waterfalls in the northwest, I've found that an excellent resource is trip reports from whitewater kayakers. Since creekboating is very prolific in the Northwest, I felt it only just that I make a page outlining all the runnable waterfalls I've encountered. This page is basically a bookmark of all the falls in the Database I've flagged as boatable, or probably boatable. However, as I am not yet an experienced boater, I don't yet have a full sense of hazards associated with waterfalls, particularly gauging plunge pool depth, so what may look runnable at first may turn out to be junk upon a detailed scout. If you're reading this page I'm sure I don't have to warn you of the dangers of not properly scouting a waterfall.

Boatable Waterfalls

This is the list of all the waterfalls I've documented as having been boated, or that are probably boatable. The majority of these I have not visited, those that I have will have photographs and additional information available on each of those waterfall's respectful pages. Others are falls I know of, or have read of that have been run before. There currently is no delimitor in this table to differentiate the falls that have been run from the falls that could be runnable (you'll have to inquire within each falls' specifics for that information). Look for the Kayak Icon on each waterfall's page for a quick reference to whether there are notes for kayakers.
